Fire crews are responding to an active incident in Hamilton this evening.
Fire crews are responding to an active incident in Hamilton this evening.
At 8:26 p.m., Hamilton Fire reported a working structure fire at an apartment building at 121 Hunter Street West, near Bay Street South.
“Initial report is that it is a kitchen fire,” the department says.
No injuries have been reported at this time. Crews currently remain at the scene.

UPDATE: Crews are reporting the fire is out, and ventilation and overhaul operations are underway. No injuries to civilians or firefighters were reported.
