Cops release name of suspect in Hamilton shooting

Hamilton Police Service has released the name of the suspect in connection with the shooting that occurred  at Montgomery Park in Hamilton last night (Sept. 11)

Authorities put out a tweet at 4:24 p.m. today (Sept 12), identifying the suspect as 41-year-old, Brian Krpan, who is a resident of Hamilton. 

Krpan has been charged with attempted murder after a 35-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries during the shooting.

Police are urging a woman who may have witnessed the shooting to come forward and assist them with the case.
