Two-vehicle crash closes part of busy Hamilton street

A car crashed into the side of another car at an intersection today, knocking down a traffic light pole and closing part of a busy street in Hamilton.
No one was injured in the T-bone collision, Indy Bharaj, spokesperson for Hamilton police, told inthehammer.com.
Locke Street South, from George Street to King Street West, is not accessible to motorists. Only one lane is open on King Street West at Locke Street South.
Hamilton police responded to a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Locke Street and King Street at about 10:30 a.m. today (Sept. 15), Bharaj said.
One vehicle was travelling west on King Street while the other was travelling north on Locke Street when they collided in the intersection. One of the cars struck a concrete traffic light pole, knocking it down as a result, Bharaj said, based on initial reports.
