Car crash closes major roads in Hamilton today

Police have closed some roads in Hamilton this afternoon due to a collision.

Hamilton Police say the incident happened shortly before 3 p.m. near Ridge Road between 6th and 7th Road East.

Investigators have not specified whether the crash involved multiple vehicles, but confirm it resulted in “personal injuries without fatalities.”

Roads remain closed in both directions while officers conduct a traffic investigation.

Additionally, police are waiting for repairs to a damaged utility pole and will provide an update when the roadways reopen.
