Binbrook man killed in single-car collision over the weekend

Detectives from the Collision Reconstruction Unit are investigating a fatal collision that happened Sunday (March 22) afternoon.

Shortly before 12:30 p.m., Hamilton Police were called to the scene of a single-car collision in the area of Miles Road and English Church Road East in Mount Hope.

Once on scene, police located a man who was the lone occupant inside a black Honda Civic that had left the roadway. The vehicle had sustained extensive damage.

The driver, who police say is a 28-year-old man from Binbrook, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Police say that his identity is not being released at this time.

At this time, the cause of the collision has not been determined and police have not ruled out any factors. The collision reconstruction unit is working to determine the sequence of events.
