Hamilton Police are still working to identify the suspects of an armed bank robbery that occurred back at the end of February.

Around 12:30 p.m. on Feb. 28, two men entered a bank near King Street West and Queen Street North. Police did not specify which bank was hit. The area is home to an RBC, a BMO and a CIBC.

When they arrived the men demanded the bank staff open the safe. One of the suspects was armed with a gun. The pair managed to secure some cash and then fled the area before police could arrive.

Police described the pair as middle-aged men, wearing dark clothing with black masks. One wore red pants with paint splatters and the other wore grey pants.

Investigators believe the pair fled the bank in a newer red Jeep Grand Cherokee with Ontario plates.

Antone with the information can call the Hamilton Police B.E.A.R. Unit at 905-540-6327.
