While homes in Hamilton are generally more affordable than those in other GTHA cities, more costly properties worth well over $1 million still change hands every month. 

According to the Realtors’ Association of Hamilton-Burlington, the average home price in the city sits at a fairly digestible $794,982 (especially compared to the GTA average of $1,026,703), but buyers with both larger and smaller budgets can find homes that suit their needs.

This four-bedroom, four-bathroom Ancaster home is contemporary, sleek and stylish. Another house in Waterdown, this 2000-plus square foot home sold for $1,230,000 after being listed for $1,274,900.
