A 14-year-old has possibly drowned in Lake Ontario in Hamilton

Hamilton Police are continuing their search for a missing 14-year-old who they believe ‘disappeared’ into the waters of Lake Ontario in Hamilton this afternoon.
On Saturday (July 29), police responded to a call near Beach Blvd., east of Hamilton Harbour for a missing teenage boy who went under the water and did not resurface.
Police say emergency service partners including Halton Police, OPP, the Hamilton Fire Department paramedics, the Coast Guard and the Hamilton Beach Rescue Unit arrived at the scene to assist in locating the missing boy.
The investigations are ongoing and police have not provided anymore details regarding the incident.

UPDATE: Police say the teen went missing after a group took an inflatable out on the water.
