Hamilton police are appealing to the public for information regarding a hit-and-run incident that killed a pedestrian late Wednesday.

Police say they received a call at around 11 p.m. that a driver failed to remain after hitting a pedestrian the area of Mohawk Rd and Seven Oaks Dr.

Police believe a 65-year-old Hamilton man was struck by a vehicle as he crossed the road in front of 270 Mohawk Rd E. The vehicle involved allegedly continued eastbound on Mohawk, fleeing the scene.
