4 men wanted in armed home invasion and vehicle thefts in Hamilton

Four men are wanted in connection to an armed home invasion that took place in Hamilton early Saturday morning.

Hamilton Police say the incident happened shortly after 4:30 p.m., near Hopkins Court and York Road in the community of Dundas.

It’s alleged the suspects drove to a house in a dark-coloured Dodge Ram pick-up truck. Police have not specified if the vehicle belonged to the thieves or if it was stolen.

The suspects then forcefully entered a house while reportedly brandishing guns before fleeing the scene with a navy blue Audi Q5 (license plate CXLJ430) and a silver Porsche 992 (license plate CYXR654).

Police have not said how many people were inside the house when the robbery took place and have not provided further details on the victims.

Luckily none of the victim inside the house reported any injuries.

Investigators describe the suspects as four black men in their early to late 20’s. They were wearing balaclavas and dark hooded sweatshirts and pants. Photos of the suspects are currently unavailable.

Police believe this was a targeted incident.

Hamilton Police are asking residents in the area to review their security surveillance cameras between the hours of 4:15 a.m. to 5:00 a.m.. for any suspicious activity and to contact police.

Detectives are also asking individuals who were driving in the area at that time and may have dash camera footage to contact the On Duty Division 30 S/Sgt by calling (905) 546-3886.
