2 people caught with cocaine, crystal meth during traffic stop: Hamilton police

Tensions in the Middle-East could reverberate in Hamilton, police say

A blue BMW with a loud exhaust caught the attention of a Hamilton police officer on Monday night. The cop did a traffic stop just after 8:30 p.m. and ended up arresting two people after discovering 0.64 grams of crack cocaine and 24 grams of crystal meth on Aug. 14.

The incident happened in the area of Wentworth Street and Main Street in Hamilton.   

A 34-year-old man from Scarborough was charged with possession of crystal meth for the  purpose of trafficking and a 34-year-old woman from Hamilton was charged with possession of crack cocaine and possession of crystal meth for the purpose of trafficking.
