Missing teen found dead in Hamilton

The 17-year-old boy reported missing in Hamilton has been found dead.

According to Hamilton police, the boy was last seen near Wentworth St. and Main St. around 10:30 p.m. on Oct. 21. Investigators put out a plea for information the following day.

On Oct. 26 police confirmed they had found the boy dead.

They did not confirm the cause of death, but it is not being treated as suspicious.

“Our deepest condolences go out to the deceased’s family and friends,” police said “We ask that you respect their privacy during this difficult time.”
